Woodham Middle School was established in 2007 by the Escambia County School District. Our campus is located at 150 East Burgess Road in Pensacola, Florida, just east of Old Palafox Road. At Woodham Middle, it is our goal to equip our students to be lifelong learners and to prepare them for the academic rigor of high school.
The student body at Woodham Middle School is afforded many opportunities to engage in myriad extra-curricular activities that include Archery Club, Student Government Association, National Junior Honor Society, band and strings, Technology Student Association, swimming, 4-H, and cheerleading. Woodham’s art club leads the panhandle’s middle and high schools in awards and recognition for outstanding performance. Our boys’ basketball team has earned the highest honor in Escambia County as District Champions twice in the past five years, and our exemplary track team members qualify annually to participate in state-wide competitions. The WMS Robotics team, our largest student organization, has been ranked among the top three panhandle middle and high schools for three years running, going on to compete at Auburn University against the best robotics teams this side of the Mississippi River.
Our spacious campus touts a full-sized gymnasium, football stadium and track, baseball and softball fields, an enormous library, an expansive courtyard, two lecture/performance auditoriums, and a contemporary cafeteria with roomy, booth-style seating. Woodham Middle School is committed to passing on a legacy of knowledge and pride to every student.
